Job summary

Baba Eco Group Bhd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical) to join our Simpang Ampat, Penang production team.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, diagnose faults, and support mould setup and facility repairs. A strong background in electrical wiring/controls or mechanical maintenance is required, with mould maintenance experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year hands-on working experience in manufacturing or factory maintenance.
• Technical Skills: Strong background in electrical wiring/controls or mechanical maintenance. Experience with mould maintenance or plastic injection molding machinery is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, moulds, and general factory facilities.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic faults promptly to minimize equipment downtime.
• Execute mould setup support, machine servicing, and facility repairs (e.g., wiring, piping, lighting, utility systems).
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance logs and assist in spare parts inventory control.
• Adhere to safety and SOPs on the factory floor.
