Job summary

Scientex Malaysia is seeking a responsible Maintenance Technician to support daily operation and maintenance of our manufacturing machinery and equipment, ensuring smooth production.

The role involves performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime, with duties including maintaining records and attending to service requests. Diploma in mechanical/electrical fields and 1–3 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field is required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Good mechanical and/or electrical troubleshooting skills; electrical troubleshooting is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
• Attend to and complete maintenance service requests.
• Carry out preventive maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize machine downtime.
