Job summary

Excel Rim Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support plant maintenance, including breakdown and preventive tasks, machine troubleshooting, repair, modification, and improvement projects within the factory.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems, control systems, and factory machinery, with knowledge in CNC, milling, welding, and lathe machines. Overtime and shift work will be required to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM and above.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in mechanical maintenance.
• Preferably junior executive specialized in maintenance and repair.
• Experience in factory machine maintenance and knowledge in CNC, milling, welding, and lathe machines is preferred.
• Able to work overtime, shifts, and on-call after working hours, weekends, or holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), and improvement projects for all areas within the premises.
• Perform annual maintenance activities and ensure completion within schedule.
• Troubleshoot machines and perform repair, modification, and improvement works when necessary.
• Ensure smooth operation of all systems and services according to maintenance checklists.
• Support production operations by minimizing machine downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repair.
• Support maintenance activities involving CNC, Milling, Welding, and Lathe machines.
• Perform machine servicing and mechanical repair works when required.
• Experience with automation, pneumatic, and mechanical systems is an added advantage.
• Encourage teamwork within the department and comply with company rules and safety guidelines.

We are looking for a hands-on and committed Maintenance Technician to support plant maintenance activities, including breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, machine troubleshooting, repair, modification, and improvement projects within the factory premises.

The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills in electrical systems, control systems, and factory machinery, with the ability to minimize downtime and ensure smooth plant operations. Knowledge in mechanical maintenance, CNC, milling, welding, and lathe machines will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance

Carry out breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance (PM), and improvement projects for all areas within the premises

Perform annual maintenance activities and ensure completion within schedule

Troubleshoot machines and perform repair, modification, and improvement works when necessary

Ensure smooth operation of all systems and services according to maintenance checklists

Support production operations by minimizing machine downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repair

Support maintenance activities involving CNC, Milling, Welding, and Lathe machines

Perform machine servicing and mechanical repair works when required
