Job summary

Integrated Cold Chain Logistics Sdn. Bhd. (ICCL) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform electrical and refrigeration systems inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and conduct preventive maintenance for MHE and building facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance of electrical and refrigeration systems preferred.
• Ability to read and follow maintenance schedules and checklists.
• Capable of troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues promptly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical panels, breakers and wiring in refrigeration systems.
• Record night shift reports including compressor status and ammonia leakage observations.
• Inspect and troubleshoot refrigeration components such as compressors and valves.
• Perform monthly/weekly facility inspections including lighting, HVAC, and building systems.
• Update daily work logs and share progress via communication tools.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and service work.

Job description

Under guidance and supervision of the Assistant Manager, this position is responsible to performs inspect electrical, refrigeration systems, building facilities maintenance, troubleshoot equipment’s, preventive maintenance for MHE. Room temperature setpoints and other temperature control systems to ensure maintain the equipment’s. identify discrepancies that could indicate a machinery problem and solve the issues.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check control panels, miniature circuit breaker, earth leakage circuit breaker, moulded case circuit breaker and electrical wiring at refrigeration system and identify issues.
• Take report from night shift staffs that how the night duty was such as compressor running condition, any ammonia gas leakage, any incident and any highlight from night duty.
• Inspect and troubleshoot refrigeration system such as compressor starting issues, reset trip alarm of ammonia pump, oil bypass of compressor and remove waste oil from compressor system separator if necessary.
• Inspect and troubleshoot warehouse issues such as overhead suctional doors, inflatable balloons and curtains, forklift, racking, replacing spoil tube lights and sport lights, flooring and etc.
• After cold room inspection done our department team gathering at control room 1 for discuss about work arrangement and briefing from our manager.
• Check evaporative condenser water level and cleanliness of water, check refrigeration valve station at top panel of Phase 1,2 & 3 for any issues such as ammonia gas leakage, solenoid valve condition and clean ice form from the valve.
• Check and troubleshoot of office and building facilities issues such as lighting, air conditioner, electrical issues, IT hardware and building facilities work that requested by office staffs.
• Check work request form and perform for what are staff request and getting some ideas from manager for finish the work in good method.
• Perform for monthly and weekly inspections such as building maintenance and air condition service once in a month, forklift service and blowers checking for any ice blocks on coil or drain pipe once in a week.
• Check pressure and temperature of refrigeration system while taking hourly temperature monitoring record.
• Daily write down the daily work report in a personal book and share the image or video of work done on the day in WhatsApp group.
• Data key in for refrigeration system and utilities running hour record and do paper work for monthly checklist, shift schedule and Over time claim form.
• Follow with vendor/ supplier for repairing or service works and do report for the task.
• Randomly checking disinfection machines and hand sanitizer machines to make sure in order and refill chemical if needed.

• Punctuality
• Monitor of refrigeration system running in good order and without room temperature spike above -18 Celsius.
• Hourly temperate reading without error and accuracy in temperature reading.
• Preventive Maintenance for Refrigeration system, cold room equipment’s, MHE and facilities buildings.
