Job summary

Double E Makii Makii SDN BHD is seeking a maintenance technician to perform general outlet maintenance across our locations. You will troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, electrical and plumbing issues, and conduct preventive inspections to ensure safe, reliable operations.

The role requires the ability to work independently, travel between outlets when needed, and adapt to a fast-paced restaurant environment. Overtime may be required to address urgent maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in F&B / restaurant maintenance is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment repair.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work at outlets.
• Troubleshoot and repair freezers, chillers, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment.
• Basic repair and maintenance of fryers, rice cookers, hoods and other cooking equipment.
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing work.
• Troubleshoot issues such as water leakage, blocked pipes, faulty switches, sockets and lights.
• Check and maintain air-conditioning, exhaust fans and ventilation systems.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Attend to maintenance issues reported by outlet staff.
• Identify problems and arrange for external technicians/contractors when necessary.
• Ensure equipment and facilities are in safe and proper working condition.
• Overtime may apply when required.
• Willing to travel between outlets when required (need to have own transport).
