Job summary

Double E Makii Makii SDN BHD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team, handling maintenance work for our F&B outlets. You will carry out general maintenance and repair tasks across outlets, and troubleshoot and repair freezers, chillers and other kitchen equipment.

The role requires basic electrical and plumbing knowledge, ability to work independently, and willingness to travel between outlets. EPF & SOCSO provided; overtime may apply when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in F&B/restaurant maintenance is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment repair.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel between outlets when required (need to have own transport).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• EPF & SOCSO provided.
• Overtime may apply when required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work at outlets
• Troubleshoot and repair freezers, chillers, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment
• Basic repair and maintenance of fryers, rice cookers, hoods and other cooking equipment
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing work
• Troubleshoot issues such as water leakage, blocked pipes, faulty switches, sockets and lights
• Check and maintain air-conditioning, exhaust fans and ventilation systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance
• Attend to maintenance issues reported by outlet staff
• Identify problems and arrange for external technicians/contractors when necessary
• Ensure equipment and facilities are in safe and proper working condition
