Job summary

Makii One Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team and perform maintenance for our F&B outlets. You will carry out general maintenance, troubleshoot kitchen equipment, and handle basic electrical and plumbing tasks to keep outlets running smoothly.

This role requires the ability to work independently, travel between outlets with your own transport, and stay productive in a fast-paced environment. EPF & SOCSO are provided, and overtime may apply when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in F&B / restaurant maintenance is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing and kitchen equipment repair.
• Able to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Responsible, punctual and hardworking.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Willing to travel between outlets when required (need to have own transport).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work at outlets
• Troubleshoot and repair freezers, chillers, refrigerators and other kitchen equipment
• Basic repair and maintenance of fryers, rice cookers, hoods and other cooking equipment
• Handle basic electrical and plumbing work
• Troubleshoot issues such as water leakage, blocked pipes, faulty switches, sockets and lights
• Check and maintain air-conditioning, exhaust fans and ventilation systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance
• Attend to maintenance issues reported by outlet staff
• Identify problems and arrange for external technicians/contractors when necessary
• Ensure equipment and facilities are in safe and proper working condition

About you
