Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Maintenance Technician in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. On-site role responsible for PM/CM, electrical and electronic repairs, PLC programming, molding equipment, TPM, and project improvements.

You will troubleshoot, support production, and work with the Facility & Maintenance Department. Candidates should have strong problem-solving and teamwork skills, with experience in electrical controls, automation, and related systems.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for PM/CM, electrical and electronic repairs, PLC, molding equipment, breakdown troubleshooting, TPM, equipment improvement, and complex projects, with strong problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills.

This position reports to the Mohd Daud Taslim and is part of the Facility & Maintenance Department located in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Responsible for PM/CM, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and production support.
• Skilled in electrical/electronic systems, PLC programming, automation, pneumatic systems, and equipment design.
• Experienced in preventive maintenance improvement, cost reduction, improvement projects, leadership, and teamwork.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Maintenance experience with strong troubleshooting and failure analysis skills.
• Experience in electronics, electrical controls, PLC, molding machines, chillers, dryers, pneumatic equipment, and inkjet printers.
• Good communication skills with experience in improvement/cost reduction projects and basic English communication.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

Indoor role requiring standing/walking, lifting up to 15 kg, ladder climbing, and working around hot molding equipment and solvents. Must follow safety procedures, use appropriate PPE, and operate only approved low-risk tools.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 1–2 years of minimum experience in maintenance.

Bonus / Incentive Pay Up to 10 % of annual base salary This job is also eligible for bonus pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
