Job summary

Masimo in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking a Sr Engineer, Project to lead interconnect projects on-site and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.

You will develop plans, manage budgets, coordinate resources, and report progress to management, while ensuring GMP/GDP compliance and NPIs for electro-mechanical products. This role offers a challenging environment within a global life sciences company.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in GDP and GMP requirements and ISO 13485 familiarity.
• Experience in project planning and familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in new product introduction of electro‑mechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects.
• Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineers, planner, production, buyer to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate regular reports and updates to management, highlighting the project status, milestones achieved, and potential issues or risks.

Position Overview

The Sr Engineer, Project is responsible for responsible for overseeing and managing interconnect projects and initiatives within an organization and collaborate with the cross functional team to ensure projects are executed successfully and meet project objectives. This position reports to the Manager, Project and is part of the Project Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects.
• Coordinate resources, tasks, and activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including engineers, planner, production, buyer to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Generate regular reports and updates management, highlighting the project status, milestones achieved, and potential issues or risks.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Knowledge and experience in GDP and GMP requirements and preferably ISO 13485 requirements
• Experience in project planning and familiarity with Microsoft Project.
• Experience in project management.
• Experience in new product introduction of electro‑mechanical products.

Physical/Environment Requirements: undefined Office‑based role requiring frequent sitting, standing, walking, extended standing, and daily computer/device use. Requires local and international travel, with a valid driver’s license and ability to perform essential duties for extended periods.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experienced in modern manufacturing principles and techniques.

Bonus / Incentive Pay: Up to 10% of annual base salary. This job is also eligible for bonus pay. This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions.
