Job summary

Rocana Hotel is seeking a hands-on maintenance technician to perform routine inspections of electrical, mechanical, and building systems, address guest and department maintenance requests promptly, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure smooth hotel operations.

The role covers multiple trades including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, and general carpentry. You will keep work areas clean, log all activities, and participate in safety committees as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in routine inspection and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to handle repairs across electrical, mechanical, plumbing and building systems.
• Commitment to safety rules and regulations.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform general routine inspection of company’s vital operating machines, equipment and public lightings as to ensure smooth operating per schedule.
• Attends to complaints with repairs and job orders or urgent top priority through phone calls from other departments/ guests without delay.
• Performs general repairs, operation and prevention maintenance duties in regard to Electrical, Mechanical, Air conditional, Fire Protection, Plumbing, Masonry, Painting, Kitchen equipment, AV equipment, and related items.
• Ensure all works carried out should be in schedule and to comply to safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain workshop, tools, equipment and all related maintenance areas in clean and neat condition at all times.
• Provide proper record on whatever works done into the daily communication logbook provided before end of the duty.
• Carry out shift duties and split duties when called upon as and when a colleagues falls sick or is absent from duty as directed by the superior.
• To perform other duties set by the Company or his direct superiors which are not in the job description in emergency circumstances.
• To keep all facilities installations, building premises and related working areas in clean and safe condition constantly.
• Incorporated as a member of the safety committee saving in the hotel.
