Job summary

QL Livestock Farming Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant electrical systems and equipment. You will monitor equipment performance, update preventive maintenance checklists, and keep service logs organized to prevent urgent part purchases.

Applicants should hold a Diploma or Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical engineering, be able to read schematics, use a multimeter, and work night shifts when required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Able to work night shifts when required.
• Able to interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, to use multimeters, and to troubleshoot faults and reset systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, check, and maintain electrical system, equipment and facilities.
• Monitor the performance of all equipment functionality.
• Maintain proper housekeeping inside the plant.
• Update and complete the daily preventive maintenance checklist and stock card to avoid emergency/urgent purchase of parts for replacement.
• Record all PM schedule maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, spare parts, and maintain proper filing on the service logs sheet.
• Promote good safety practices as per prescribed guidelines and regulations.

Job description

Requirements:

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or equivalent.

Willing to work on night shift when required.
