Job summary

Pmb Aluminium Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Electrical Technician/Support in Klang. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, perform hands-on replacements, and ensure safe, compliant maintenance of machinery.

Responsibilities include servicing air compressors, inspecting cranes with contractors, and providing smooth handovers between day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Preferably non-executive with electrical specialization.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in machinery (MCB, sensors, fuses, cables).
• Perform hands-on work to replace electrical parts (motors, solenoids).
• Inspect systems for hazards and ensure code compliance.
• Maintain air compressors and perform service (oil, filters, pressure).
• Liaise with contractors to inspect hoists and overhead cranes; hand over tasks between shifts.

Troubleshoot general electrical works for machinery such as changing spoil unit of MCB, sensors, fuses and cable lost connection.

To perform hands on work for changing electrical parts such as motor, solenoid etc.

Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

Troubleshoot and maintenance for air compressors such as change compressor oil, air filters, pressure, etc.

Troubleshoot and repair overhead crane by liaise with contractor from time-to-time by inspecting of hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls and pullers.

Troubleshoot and maintenance for billet oven such as wiring and grinding head, thermocouple probe servicing, gas value, modulator and flame controller trouble shooting, limit switch, hydraulic, motor etc.

To ensure proper handover / take over any task upon changing of shift for day and night shift.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma

At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field

Required Skill(s):

Preferably Non-Executive specialized in Engineering - Electrical or equivalent.
