Job summary

OAG Group of Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Malaysia to establish and run TPM/PM programs for all plant machinery, generators and project equipment. You will lead reactive maintenance teams, coordinate overhaul activities and ensure minimal downtime across warehouses, yards and utilities.

The ideal candidate will have TPM/PM scheduling experience, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of HSE and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with TPM and PM scheduling in an industrial setting.
• Ability to lead and mentor workshop technicians, mechanics, electricians, and sub-contractors.
• Knowledge of HSE procedures including Lockout/Tagout and hazardous material handling.
• Understanding of statutory regulations (DOSH/JKKP, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Bomba, PKFZ authority).
• Experience managing OPEX and CAPEX budgets and cost control initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance for PKFZ warehouse, yards, crane systems, civil works and utilities.
• Coordinate machinery mobilization, testing and pre-commissioning prior to site dispatch.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement liaison to keep downtime minimal.
• Enforce strict HSE procedures and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Manage maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budget; identify cost-efficiency opportunities.
• Mentor and upskill workshop staff and subcontractors to improve reliability.

This role involves establishing, executing, and monitoring Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all specialized plant machinery, industrial generators, air compressors, and project spread equipment. You will lead reactive and breakdown maintenance teams to troubleshoot root causes and execute rapid repairs to minimize operational downtime.

Key responsibilities

Establish, execute, and monitor Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for all specialized plant machinery, industrial generators, air compressors, and project spread equipment

Lead reactive and breakdown maintenance teams to troubleshoot root causes and execute rapid repairs to minimize operational downtime

Oversee routine maintenance and repairs for the PKFZ warehouse, office premises, fabrication yards, crane systems, civil structures, and utility networks

Coordinate machinery mobilization, overhaul, testing, and pre-commissioning checks before equipment is dispatched to project sites

Manage inventory levels for fast-moving spare parts, critical components, and maintenance consumables to support uninterrupted operations

Work with Procurement to source OEM parts, manage supplier lead times, and control maintenance expenditures

Enforce strict HSE procedures across all workshop and yard maintenance activities (Lockout/Tagout, lifting ops, hazardous material handling)

Ensure compliance with statutory regulations including DOSH (JKKP), Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Bomba, and Port Klang Free Zone authority guidelines

Manage the maintenance OPEX and CAPEX budget, identifying cost-efficiency and asset-life expansion opportunities

Lead, upskill, and mentor workshop technicians, mechanics, electricians, and sub-contractors

About you

Knowledge of HSE procedures including Lockout/Tagout, lifting operations, and hazardous material handling
