Job summary

Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, utilities and facilities maintenance teams in Malaysia. The role focuses on driving TPM, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to achieve high equipment reliability and low downtime.

You will spearhead MTBF/MTTR improvements, spare parts management, and root cause elimination while managing budgets, contractors and Capex. Experience with GMP/HACCP and food safety is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–12 years maintenance experience with 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Hands-on TPM implementation in a manufacturing environment.
• GMP/HACCP and food safety standards knowledge.
• Experience leading high-speed production, processing and packaging equipment.

• Support new line installation, commissioning, and handover from project to operations.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager needs to lead the maintenance function to ensure high equipment reliability, low downtime, effective preventive maintenance, and sustainable asset performance through TPM, reliability engineering, and maintenance excellence.

Lead mechanical, electrical, utilities, and facilities maintenance teams.

Develop and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Improve MTBF, MTTR, breakdown frequency, and spare parts management.

Lead equipment reliability improvement and root cause elimination.

Implement TPM Planned Maintenance and support Autonomous Maintenance.

Manage maintenance budget, spare parts cost, contractor performance, and Capex support.

Ensure compliance with safety, food safety, statutory, and engineering standards.

Support new line installation, commissioning, and handover from project to operation.

Job requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• Minimum 8–12 years maintenance experience with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven hands-on experience implementing and sustaining TPM practices in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, root cause analysis, and breakdown elimination.
• Proven experience managing high-speed production, processing, and packaging equipment.
• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and relevant food safety standards.
• Strong people leadership and the ability to drive TPM adoption across the teams.
