Job summary

Mamee-Double Decker (M) Sdn Bhd seeks a Production Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety and quality, and drive TPM and continuous improvement on high-speed FMCG lines in Malaysia.

The role focuses on optimizing line performance, scheduling, and shopfloor discipline, while developing shift teams and coordinating with maintenance, QA, planning, and engineering functions to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Technology, or related field.
• 8-10 years production experience including shopfloor leadership.
• Experience managing high-speed automated FMCG or food lines preferred.
• Proven track record in TPM initiatives with GMP knowledge and production planning expertise.

Responsibilities

• Manage production operations across assigned lines or departments.
• Deliver output according to production plan, quality requirements and cost targets.
• Monitor OEE, downtime, yield, waste, manpower efficiency and line performance.
• Lead daily production meetings and performance reviews.
• Ensure operators and supervisors follow SOP, GMP, Halal, HACCP, and safety requirements.
• Drive TPM Autonomous Maintenance with production teams.
• Work closely with Maintenance, QA, Planning, Warehouse and Engineering teams.
• Support new product trials, process validation and line commissioning.
• Develop shift executives, supervisors, line leaders, and production technicians.

The Production Manager is responsible for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets through safe, efficient, and quality-compliant manufacturing operations. The role leads production teams, optimizes line performance, and drives TPM, productivity, waste reduction, and shop floor discipline.
