Job summary

Bosch Group in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia seeks a Senior Staff Engineer (Maintenance Group Leader) to lead a skilled team of technicians and engineers. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years related field experience.
• At least 5–8 years in assembly process sustaining and development.
• Strong knowledge of TPM pillars and tooling care strategy.
• Able to lead, coach, and motivate engineers and technicians.
• Communicates effectively in both oral and written form.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of technicians and engineers to meet key maintenance, quality, and equipment performance goals.
• Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of TPM pillars, including maintenance KPI (OEE, MTBF, MTTR, tDt).
• Plan and coordinate preventive and autonomous maintenance, and focused improvement to strengthen uptime and stability.
• Coordinate planning of maintenance activities and optimize resource utilization.
• Oversee equipment condition monitoring and risk assessments for reliability and safety.
• Provide mentorship and structured training to build technical capability and motivation.
• Foster inclusive, collaborative and high-performance team culture across functions.
• Establish and refine maintenance standards, equipment specs, and long-term tooling care strategies.
