Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager in Penang, Malaysia to oversee equipment maintenance and lead preventive maintenance programs. You will drive equipment reliability, safety initiatives, and continuous improvement across multiple production lines.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/automation/engineering and 5+ years of factory maintenance experience, with strong knowledge of machinery mechanics, PLCs, and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automation control, or engineering field.
• Progressively responsible professional level experience preferred (5+ years in equipment maintenance).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical or electronic systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Lead technician management: training, assessments, and conflict resolution.
• Participate in EHS activities and safety device design and implementation.
• Plan and manage equipment improvement projects using standard methodologies.
• Help formulate and implement department policies and procedures.
