Job summary

AME Engineering is hiring a Maintenance Facilities professional to keep buildings running smoothly. The role involves electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, and painting tasks, plus updating daily maintenance reports for I-Stay AIO.

The position requires a minimum SPM or Diploma in Engineering and at least 2 years of facility maintenance experience. Good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• SPM qualification or Diploma in Engineering required.
• Basic knowledge of electrical works and maintenance services.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings by repairing wiring, replacing light bulbs, and installing new equipment.
• Carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, and painting tasks.
• Move and relocate office furniture and adjust desks/chairs.
• Repair locking systems on doors, files, cabinets, and lockers.
• Update daily maintenance reports in the I-Stay AIO application.
• Support Maintenance Supervisor on district maintenance projects.

We’re Hiring: Maintenance Facilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Maintenance Facilities is a professional who keeps buildings running smoothly by repairing wiring, replacing light bulbs, and installing new equipment or facilities in a dormitory and infrastructure.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, locksmithing, and painting, to keep the I-Stay building in good condition.
• Move and relocate office furniture, make adjustment to desk, chairs, and files.
• Repair locking system on doors, files, cabinets, and lockers.
• Update the maintenance block daily report at the I-Stay AIO Application.
• Assist to Maintenance Supervisor on district maintenance projects such as preventive maintenance of the buildings.
• Respond to immediate maintenance requirements as required.
• May provide support in supervising and managing maintenance records and supplies.
• Ensuring cleanliness and maintenance of work tools.
• Complying with different safety measures and policies.
• Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum SPM qualification/ Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• Min 2 years of experience in building facility maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of electrical works and maintenance services.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Able to communicate effectively in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
