Job summary

T HASEGAWA FLAVOURS (KUALA LUMPUR) SDN. BHD. is a Malaysia-based flavourings manufacturer seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team and drive reliability across production lines.

You will develop preventive maintenance plans for AHU systems, monitor performance, and collaborate with engineering and QA to minimize downtime while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in maintenance management, preferably in manufacturing industry.
• Strong technical knowledge of air handling unit (AHU) and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Excellent leadership, team management, planning, and admin skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Analytical mindset with ability to diagnose complex issues and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance, mentorship, and ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, plans, and preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other equipment malfunctions, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize maintenance processes, ensure safety compliance, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and materials, ensuring availability for timely repairs and replacements.
• Prepare and present regular maintenance reports to management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommended improvements.
