Job summary

Aladdin Pacific seeks an Engineer to support maintenance and production, ensuring equipment reliability and product quality. You will collaborate with Engineering and Production, plan preventive maintenance, and uphold safety and SOP standards to drive continuous improvement.

You will analyse equipment condition, manage spare parts, and escalate critical issues to the Plant Manager while contributing to process optimization and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering as specified.
• Minimum 3 years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate with Engineering and Production in preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Analyze equipment condition to reduce rejects and improve product quality.
• Establish and update installation, modification, quality control, testing and maintenance standards.
• Ensure projects are implemented efficiently according to set standards and assist in ramping up production.
• Provide technical support to Engineering and Operations to speed up work processes.
• Manage spare parts availability and coordinate with related departments.
• Schedule routine inspections to prevent equipment damage and malfunctions.
• Identify machinery issues and escalate to Production or Factory Managers.
• Contribute to process improvement plans and monitor new systems and equipment.
• Provide output, productivity, defects, and material data to leadership for corrective actions.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed and SOPs updated.

To ensure and assist implementation of product certification, production control, quality and plant operations comply to FSSC/ISO22000, HACCP, GMP, HALAL and safety, health and environment regulations.

Assist and collaborate for Engineering and Production in planning, managing and implementing Preventive Maintenance in line with production operations to ensure smooth operations.

To analyze and provide opinions based on experience to ensure mechanical equipment, machines and components are in good condition so that the products produced are of higher quality and have fewer rejects.

Establishes standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations.

Ensure that each assigned project can be implemented efficiently and in an orderly manner according to the standards that have been set.

Provide technical support to the Engineering and Operations teams in helping to speed up the work process.

Ensure that all materials and spare parts are always available and easily obtainable to optimize Engineering work in assisting the production process and coordinate with related departments in managing the spare parts.

Schedule routine and basic or comprehensive inspections of production equipment by Production and Engineering to prevent equipment damage and malfunction.

Identify and address any machinery and equipment issues, technical disputes or food safety and elevate them to the Production Manager, Engineering Manager or Factory Manager.

Learn and provide input in designing and developing process improvement plans to maximize productivity, effectively and efficiently and monitor any implementation of new systems, processes and equipment.

To provide reports, data and engineering information to the Engineering Manager/Factory Manager in terms of output, productivity, defects, materials, manpower, equipment and so on and use these parameters to take necessary actions for improvement.

Ensure safety procedures are followed to minimize risk of incidents and hazards.

To update standard operating procedures (SOP) of production operations

Manage budget and ensure project deadlines are adequately met according to standards and requirements.

REQUIREMENTS

• Qualifications : MINIMUM BACHELOR DEGREE IN ENGINEERING (MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC/MECHATRONICS)
• Experience : MINIMUM 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH RELATED FIELD
