Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Maintenance Engineer at PGEO Edible Oils Sdn Bhd Refinery Division (A Member Of Wilmar Group Of Companies) located in Pasir Gudang.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Relevant experience in maintenance engineering, manufacturing, or a plant environment is preferred.
Good knowledge of mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance practices.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, planning, and organisational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work in a plant environment and support 24/7 maintenance operations when required.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Plan and coordinate routine, preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.
Diagnose equipment breakdowns, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Support equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, and maintenance improvement projects.
Lead and supervise fitters and maintenance personnel to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Manage maintenance tools, spare parts, equipment, and inventory.
Coordinate procurement of spare parts, components, equipment, and maintenance services.
Supervise contractors and ensure work meets safety, quality, technical, and budget requirements.
Monitor maintenance costs and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates to Management on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, safety regulations, and relevant management systems.
