This full-time position involves preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment and systems, with emphasis on motors, pumps, switchboards, MCC panels, gensets and control systems. Ideal candidates hold SPM/SPMV or a Certificate in Electrical Engineering, with 1–3 years of relevant experience and the ability to work

Qualifications

• SPM/SPMV or Certificate in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance or related fields.
• Good knowledge of electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for electrical equipment and installations.
• Perform inspection, testing and troubleshooting of motors, pumps, switchboards, MCC panels and related electrical systems.
• Attend to electrical breakdowns and emergency maintenance works when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and operational standards while handling electrical equipment.
• Maintain maintenance records, reports and related documentation.
• Report maintenance issues, damages or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• SPM/SPMV qualification or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.;
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience in electrical maintenance, control systems, or related fields;
• Good knowledge in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and repair works;
• Hands-on experience in the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical motors, pumps, MCC panels, switchboards, generators, and control systems.
• Familiar with Generator Set (Genset) operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting;
• Ability to speak and write both English and Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage;
• Able to work independently, good hand on skill, troubleshooting skills and work effectively as part of a team.

Job Scopes
