Job summary

• Must possess at least Higher Secondary/SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree related to the field.
• Electrical chargeman Certifications (BO, A4, A1 or AO) are required or preferred.
• Professional Certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare schedules for regular maintenance services.
• Monitor staff in carrying out tasks and projects.
• Ensure vendors perform monthly services according to correct procedures and on time.
• Order and manage stock and materials for service work, repairs and daily use.
• Repair faulty equipment, fix plumbing leaks, resolve electrical problems and attend to maintenance needs in guest rooms, common areas and facilities.
• Oversee maintenance of all hotel equipment, machinery, and assets by scheduling activities and coordinating repairs or replacements.
• Communicate with Sales, kitchen, and front office regarding system use, equipment maintenance and guest complaints.
• Ensure damage and room defects are repaired and facilities are in good working order.
• Conduct on-job-training to keep employees up to date with current practice and trend.
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and act quickly to resolve emergencies.

You will be responsible for ordering and managing stock and materials for service work, repairs, and daily use, while ensuring all physical aspects of the property are well-maintained and in good working order.

• Oversee maintenance of all hotel equipment, machinery, and assets by conducting regular inspections, scheduling maintenance activities and coordinating repairs or replacements
• Communicate regularly with Sales, kitchen, and front office departments regarding system use, equipment maintenance, and guest complaints
• Ensure damage and room defects are well repaired and facilities are in good working order
• Conduct on-job-training to keep employees up to date with current practice and trend
• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance, and act fast to resolve emergency issues

About you

• Must possess at least Higher Secondary/SPM/STPM/Diploma/Degree related to the field
• Possessed Electrical chargeman Certifications (BO, A4, A1 or AO)
• Professional Certifications are preferred
• At least 5 years of working experience in the related field and 3 years in supervisory role
• Able to work in rotation shifts, on call and during weekends and public holidays
