Job summary

Vamptech Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a capable maintenance technician to perform daily inspections, diagnose faults, and coordinate with technicians and contractors to keep factory equipment running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily routine inspections of factory equipment and machinery, spotting potential faults and reporting to Maintenance Technician.
• Fix or repair faulty equipment and machinery.
• Perform periodic service and maintenance as planned.
• Responsible for all maintenance job scopes.
• Report any breakdowns to superior and take preventative action.
• Respond to machine breakdowns including diagnosing faults and liaising with contractors for repair arrangement.
• Assist in monitoring and supervising all work performed by outside contractors to ensure proper completion.
• Follow up with supplier on machine / tooling parts.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors for installation, service, and repair work.
• Responsible for reporting all incidents immediately to prevent fatality or other major impact.
• Generate and update maintenance reports and filing of job-related documents.

Job description
