Job summary

Sinergia Talents Sdn Bhd seeks a maintenance technician to inspect, maintain, and repair production machinery at our Malaysia facility. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical problems, and support machine setup and changeovers.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive and routine maintenance of production machinery.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Capable of conducting machine setup, adjustment, testing and changeovers.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, breakdowns, repairs and parts used.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of production machinery, equipment, and related facilities.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance according to the maintenance schedule.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Respond promptly to machine breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Support machine setup, adjustment, testing, and changeover activities.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring faults or potential failures.
• Escalate major technical issues that require external support or specialist attention.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, breakdowns, repairs, spare parts used, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials are properly maintained and stored.
• Coordinate with Production Team Leaders and operators regarding equipment issues and planned maintenance.
• Assist with the installation, modification, and improvement of machinery and equipment.
• Support continuous improvement, 5S, safety, and productivity initiatives.
• Follow all company safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures where applicable.
• Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in maintenance and production work areas.
• Perform other technical or operational duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
