Jora Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician in Selangor to perform routine and preventive maintenance across buildings and equipment, ensuring safety and reliability of facilities. Reponsible for carrying out general maintenance, repair and improvement work to ensure that the Organization's buildings, facilities, and equipment remain safe, functional, and well-maintained. The role supports efficient operations by responding promptly to maintenance requests and performing preventive and corrective maintenance.
To execute all operational duties typically include the day-to-day tasks required to keep a facility, building, or property in good working condition.
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure building facilities remain safe and operational.
Attend to maintenance work orders within the required response time.
Repair and maintain doors, windows, locks, ceilings, walls, flooring, partitions, furniture, and building fixtures.
Perform basic plumbing works, including repairing leaks, replacing taps and sanitary fittings, and clearing minor blockages.
Perform basic electrical maintenance such as replacing lamps, switches, sockets, and other electrical accessories within competency.
Carry out painting, patching, plastering, carpentry, tiling, and other minor civil works.
Maintain public areas, including lobbies, corridors, staircases, toilets, loading bays, car parks, and service areas, ensuring they are in good repair.
Monitor the condition of building equipment and promptly report abnormalities or major defects requiring specialist attention.
Maintain maintenance tools, equipment, and materials in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition.
Record completed maintenance activities, materials used, and outstanding issues in the maintenance management system or work order log.
Respond to emergency maintenance situations, such as water leaks, blocked drains, power outages, damaged fixtures, and other building-related incidents.
Perform any other maintenance-related duties assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Ensure all maintenance work complies with company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and occupational safety and health (OSH) requirements.
