Job summary

Royale Signature Hotel is seeking a diligent Maintenance Technician to ensure the smooth operation of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facilities across the property in Kedah. You will respond to guest concerns and perform routine servicing in guest rooms and public areas.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, safety awareness, and the ability to work with limited supervision to maintain high standards of comfort and functionality for hotel guests.

Qualifications

• Must be able to inspect and service hotel facilities and equipment.
• Strong understanding of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC units and related controls.
• Proactive in maintaining guest rooms and common areas.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection and servicing of hotel equipment, machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, air-conditioning, and other facilities.
• Check and repair lighting, switches, sockets, electrical panels, wiring, and other electrical equipment.
• Repair water leaks, blocked drains, toilets, showers, faucets, water pumps, pipes, and hot-water systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot air-conditioning units, chillers, ventilation systems, FCUs, AHUs, and temperature-control systems.
• Attend to maintenance complaints from guests, such as faulty lights, air-conditioning, TV, plumbing, doors, locks, and other room facilities.
• Maintain hotel lobbies, corridors, toilets, restaurants, meeting rooms, swimming pools, parking areas, and other common facilities.
• Inspect and maintain washing machines, dryers, ironing equipment, boilers, and other laundry machinery.
