Job summary

Inokom Corporation Sdn. Bhd. in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia, seeks a maintenance professional to support daily production by keeping equipment in good health and safe to operate.

You will troubleshoot breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime and plan preventive maintenance for all machinery under supervision. You will also liaise with suppliers for spare parts, supervise contractors during plant projects, maintain spare parts inventory, and train sub-ordinates to enhance technical skills and discipline

Responsibilities

• Support daily production operations by ensuring equipment health and safe working conditions.
• Troubleshoot and advise on equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Plan and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with vendors for spare parts sourcing and purchases.
• Supervise contractors during plant projects.
• Maintain and update spare parts inventory to prevent downtime.
• Conduct in-house training to improve sub-ordinates' technical skills.

1. 1. To support production in their daily operation by making sure all equipment’s are in good health and safe in working condition.
2. 2. To troubleshoot and give advice on any production equipment breakdown in a minimum time to reduce long downtime period.
3. 3. To plan and execute weekly, monthly, and yearly preventive maintenance schedule for sub-ordinates for all equipment under his supervision.
4. 4. Liaising with vendors during sourcing or purchasing of spare parts for equipment in the plant.
5. 5. Dealing and supervising contractors when a project is carried out in the plant.
6. 6. Supervising sub-ordinates carrying out their daily work.
7. 7. Maintain and update spare parts inventory regularly to avoid long downtime in case of machine breakdown and needs replacement.
8. 8. To conduct in house training for all sub-ordinate from time to time to enhance their technical skills as well as motivating them to excel better.
9. 9. To assist superior in planning and design of new equipment setup, project, or job requisition.
10. 10.To ensure all sub-ordinates follow strict guidelines of the company in discipline, ISO, Q4M, 5S, Kaizen, ICC etc.
