Job summary

NOV in Malaysia seeks a skilled CNC Machinist to interpret drawings, set up and program milling/turning operations, and ensure precision parts built to spec.

You will maintain machines, troubleshoot, collaborate with engineers, and uphold 5S and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in machining or mechanical engineering is required.
• 3–5 years of CNC machining and programming experience.
• Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code).
• Strong machining knowledge of materials and tooling.
• Good problem-solving, detail orientation, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings to determine machining operations, sequence, and dimensions.
• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling, turning, or other operations.
• Set up CNC machines with tools, fixtures, and raw materials.
• Operate machines to produce components within tolerances.
