Keyto My Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Machining Process Engineer (CNC) to optimize CNC milling and turning processes, develop fixtures, and support NPI and mass production. You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and R&D to ensure quality and cost targets while driving continuous improvement.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of CNC process experience, with familiarity in fixtures, GD&T, and CAD/CAM tools.

We are looking for an experienced Machining Process Engineer (CNC) to join our CNC team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing machining processes, improving production efficiency, designing fixtures, and supporting new product introduction (NPI) as well as mass production. You will work closely with Production, Quality, and R&D teams to ensure products are manufactured efficiently while meeting quality and cost objectives.
Review engineering drawings for manufacturability (DFM) and provide technical feedback.
Develop and optimize CNC machining processes for new and existing products. Prepare manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
Process Flow Charts, Work Instructions, Process Sheets Design, evaluate and validate machining fixtures and tooling.
Establish standard machining cycle times and optimize machine utilization.
Improve machining efficiency, reduce production costs, and increase productivity.
Analyze production issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production transfer.
Work closely with Production, Quality, Purchasing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Participate in continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing / Kaizen) initiatives.
Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and company manufacturing procedures.
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining process engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Experience in precision machining or CNC manufacturing. Experience in Medical Device, Semiconductor, Automation, or Precision Engineering industries is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of CNC Milling and/or CNC Turning processes.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
Experience with fixture and jig design.
Familiar with machining parameters, cutting tools, and production optimization.
Knowledge of machining process validation and continuous improvement.
Experience with CAD/CAM software such as: Mastercam Siemens, Solid Works AutoCAD, CAM software.
Preferred Qualifications Candidates with the following experience will have an advantage: Medical Device Manufacturing, ISO 13485, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D), NPI (New Product Introduction), Process Validation (IQ / OQ / PQ), ERP System, Project Management
