Job summary

Talentsync Resources Sdn Bhd in Seksyen 16, Shah Alam, is hiring a Machine Operator to operate, monitor and maintain production machinery. You will follow SOPs, meet quality standards, and comply with EHS requirements while supporting lean manufacturing initiatives.

The role requires a minimum SPM, basic production understanding, and physical fitness for lifting heavy items. Shift work with 12-hour cycles and immediate start is included in a 3-month contract with potential permanent absorption.

Qualifications

• Local citizen required.
• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Technical Certificate or Diploma is an added advantage.
• Manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and SOPs.
• Must have safety shoes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production machines according to SOPs.
• Perform start-up, shutdown, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Load raw materials into equipment.
• Maintain 5S and report machine issues.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams.
• Complete production records and handovers.

About the Role

The role requires compliance with production schedules, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.

Responsibility

• Set up and operate production machines according to approved work instructions and SOPs.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting.
• Monitor machine performance and operating parameters to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
• Load raw materials and components into production equipment.
• Conduct routine in-process inspections and report any quality or equipment issues.
• Support production line changeovers and ensure machines are properly prepared.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards in the work area.
• Complete production records accurately and communicate production status during shift handovers.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and EHS teams.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Supervisor.
