Job summary

Tonyshare Electronic Material Technology Malaysia Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to operate and monitor production equipment, including wire drawing machines, following SOPs.

You will set up, adjust, and run machinery to meet daily production targets, perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance, inspect outputs for quality, and report any major faults to the supervisor. Overtime and shift work are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing.
• Experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance and basic repairs.
• Ability to identify machine faults and perform corrective maintenance.
• Willing to work shifts and overtime.
• Experience with wire drawing or metal wire processes is preferred.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures preferred.
• Capable of working independently and staying disciplined.

Report major machine breakdowns and technical issues to the supervisor or maintenance team

Record daily production output, machine breakdowns, maintenance activities, and other relevant information

Ensure machines and equipment are operated safely and comply with workplace safety procedures

Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping in the production area

About you

Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment is required

Experience in machine troubleshooting, maintenance, and basic repairs is required

Ability to identify machine faults and perform basic corrective maintenance

Responsible, disciplined, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

Willing to work shifts and overtime when required

Experience in wire drawing or metal wire manufacturing processes is preferred

Knowledge of machine maintenance and preventive maintenance procedures is preferred

Candidates with experience operating and maintaining medium wire drawing machines are preferred
