Master Tec Wire & Cable Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive Engineer to join the operations team. You will be involved in plant floor operations, production line optimization, machinery efficiency, and quality assurance within our cable and wire facilities.

Responsibilities include assisting daily operations, identifying bottlenecks for Lean improvements, and supporting maintenance to reduce downtime while ensuring safety compliance and product quality.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant (wire, cable, metal, or plastics extrusion) encouraged.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing machinery, electrical circuitry, mechanical systems, or quality tools (7 QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen) is an advantage.
• Strong analytical mindset, hands-on problem-solving attitude, and clear communication across all levels of plant personnel.

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Engineer to join our operations team. In this role, you will be directly involved in plant floor operations, production line optimization, machinery efficiency, and quality assurance within our cable and wire manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily plant operations, ensuring production lines run efficiently, safely, meet quality and target schedules.

• Identify bottlenecks in production processes and recommend continuous improvement (Kaizen / Lean) initiatives.

• Work closely with the maintenance and technical teams to reduce equipment downtime and assist in preventive maintenance planning.

• Support root-cause analysis for manufacturing defects, helping to minimize raw material scrap and ensure cables meet quality standards.

• Ensure all operations comply with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards and internal plant safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering disciplines.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant (especially wire, cable, metal, or plastics extrusion) are also encouraged.

• Basic understanding of manufacturing machinery, electrical circuitry, mechanical systems, or quality tools (7 QC Tools, 5S, Kaizen) is an advantage.

• Strong analytical mindset, hands-on problem-solving attitude, and clear communication skills across all levels of plant personnel.
