Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Production Operator in Johor Bahru to support mould changes, quality inspections, and machine operation. The role requires following work instructions, maintaining cleanliness, and working in a hot factory environment if needed.

Fresh graduates and candidates with 1–2 years’ related experience are welcome to apply. Role includes rotating shifts, free parking, health insurance, and clear opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM/SPVM qualification. Technical or vocational certificate in related fields encouraged.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machine operation.
• Able to read and follow work instructions and inspection procedures.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of power control circuits is an added advantage.
• Physically fit to work in a factory, including rotating shifts if required.
• Able to join immediately is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Job Change Team in changing moulds and blanks according to the job change schedule.
• Perform product quality checks in accordance with established standards and inspection procedures.
• Conduct hot-end bottle inspections every 30 minutes to ensure products meet customer specifications.
• Perform swabbing according to the established swabbing schedule.
• Inspect and gauge sample bottles from the machine every 30 minutes and record inspection results accurately.
• Ensure the correct gob shape and gob weight are maintained during production.
• Ensure all mould equipment and machine parts removed during job changes are returned to the designated storage trays.
• Monitor machine operation and promptly report any abnormalities or defects to the Supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the machine and surrounding work area.
• Comply with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
