Job summary

Scanwolf Ecofloors Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking an experienced production operator to join our extrusion line. You will operate extrusion machines, set up parameters, monitor quality, and ensure production targets are met.

The role requires following SOPs, performing basic maintenance, recording outputs, and maintaining safety and cleanliness in the production area. Training on equipment and procedures will be provided, with opportunities to develop core manufacturing skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion machines and related production equipment according to approved work instructions and SOPs.
• Set up and adjust machine parameters such as temperature, speed, and material feeding per product specs.
• Monitor machine operation to ensure smooth production and consistent quality.
• Load and prepare raw materials according to production requirements.
• Conduct in-process quality checks on dimensions, appearance, colour, and thickness.
• Identify and report machine abnormalities or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.
• Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments as needed.
• Ensure correct material, colour, product specs, and production quantities per order.
• Record production output, machine settings, downtime, and rejects accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and production area.
• Carry out basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance as instructed.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets.

Monitor machine operation continuously to ensure smooth production and consistent product quality.

Load and prepare raw materials according to production requirements.

Conduct in-process quality checks, including product dimensions, appearance, colour, thickness, and other required specifications.

Identify and report machine abnormalities, product defects, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor.

Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments when required.

Ensure correct material, colour, product specifications, and production quantities are used for each production order.

Record production output, machine settings, downtime, rejects, and other required production information accurately.

Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the machine and production area.

Carry out basic machine cleaning, lubrication, and preventive maintenance activities as instructed.

Follow production schedules and achieve daily production targets.

Minimise material wastage, rejects, machine downtime, and production losses.

Ensure finished products are properly packed, labelled, and transferred to the designated area.

Follow all company policies and procedures relating to workplace safety, quality, and environmental requirements.

Wear the required PPE and ensure safe operating practices are followed at all times.

Report any safety hazards, machine defects, accidents, or near-miss incidents immediately to the supervisor.

Assist the maintenance team during machine servicing, repair, and preventive maintenance activities when required.

Assist with machine changeover and product changeover activities.

Perform other production-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
