Job summary

Lavu Tech Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned M365 Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and IT, guiding the adoption of Microsoft 365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive. You will gather requirements, design workflows, run workshops, oversee UAT, and ensure governance and security standards while promoting Power Platform automation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise-scale digital transformation.
• Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of BAU and Project activities, familiarity with IT service management workflows.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into clear requirements and user stories.
• Facilitate workshops to define use cases and productivity gaps.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams on design and implementation of M365 solutions.
• Lead UAT coordination to validate solutions before deployment.

The M365 Business Analyst acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful implementation and optimization of Microsoft 365 solutions.

This role focuses on gathering requirements, designing workflows, and driving adoption of M365 tools such as Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive.

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis
• Elicit, document, and translate business requirements into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to define use cases and productivity gaps.
• Solution Design & Implementation
• Collaborate with technical teams to design M365-based solutions aligned with business goals.
• Leverage Power Platform and automation tools to optimize workflows.
• Stakeholder Engagement
• Act as liaison between business users, IT, and development teams.
• Present solution concepts and business cases to leadership.
• Testing & Validation
• Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solution readiness.
• Governance & Compliance
• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Training & Adoption
• Develop training materials and best practices to drive effective use of M365 tools.

• Stay updated on M365 advancements and lead proof-of-concept initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 5+ years as a Business Analyst, preferably in enterprise-scale digital transformation.
• Technical Knowledge: Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook) and Power Platform.
• Methodologies: Strong understanding of BAU and Project activities, familiarity with Service Now tools.
• Frameworks: Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, request, and change management.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
