Job summary

The role requires a diploma or degree in engineering, at least five years in M&E site supervision, and strong coordination with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E site supervision within construction.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, power systems, and building services.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications.
• Sound understanding of Malaysian building codes and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and coordination across diverse teams.
• Leadership and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Professional certification or membership is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all mechanical and electrical installation works on site.
• Monitor daily M&E activities including wiring, HVAC, plumbing, and equipment placement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and safety.
• Prepare and maintain detailed site records and progress reports.
• Liaise with sub-contractors, suppliers, and consultants for timely procurement.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning before handover.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Train and mentor site staff on M&E installation procedures.
• Report progress to the Project Manager and escalate delays.
• Manage site safety protocols for electrical and mechanical work.
