Job summary

EVERGRAND ELECTRONIC SCIENTIFIC TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. in Penang seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead semiconductor engineering projects, including high purity gas systems, bulk gas, chemical delivery, and cleanroom M&E.

You will oversee full project lifecycle, site management, safety, schedule, and budget, coordinating with clients and contractors to deliver projects on time and within scope. Willingness to travel overseas as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Engineering-related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering design or project management for semiconductor or industrial engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of high purity gas systems, bulk gas systems, chemical systems and cleanroom engineering.
• Familiar with SEMI standards, pressure vessel and piping requirements.
• Proficient in engineering design and drawing software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Ability to speak and write in Chinese and English for project coordination and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full lifecycle of engineering projects, from pre-construction planning to project completion.
• Prepare project manpower planning, material planning, and site preparation before project mobilization.
• Oversee construction site management, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets.
• Ensure proper execution of project scope in accordance with contract requirements.
• Manage projects involving High Purity Gas Systems, Bulk Gas Systems, Chemical Delivery Systems, Secondary Distribution Systems, and Cleanroom M&E Engineering.
• Ensure project design and construction comply with industry standards and engineering regulations (e.g. SEMI standards, pressure vessel and pressure piping requirements).
• Review engineering drawings and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Lead the preparation of construction schedules and project execution plans.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates and reports to management.
• Organize and lead project meetings with internal teams, clients, and consultants.

About you
