Job summary

UMECH CONSTRUCTION SDN.BHD. is seeking a capable Site Engineer to coordinate mechanical and electrical works with civil, structural, and architectural teams on infrastructure projects in Malaysia.

You will ensure M&E installation aligns with approved drawings, monitor progress, and support drawing reviews and technical submissions. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Building Services, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services
• Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure/structural/construction projects
• Knowledge in M&E systems and construction coordination
• Familiar with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all M&E works with civil, structural, and architectural teams
• Supervise daily M&E activities on-site and monitor progress
• Review shop drawings, construction drawings, and method statements for M&E coordination
• Track project progress and prepare weekly/monthly reports
• Ensure safety and compliance with local authorities and company procedures
