Job summary

Eupe Corporation in Malaysia is seeking a skilled M&E Engineer to coordinate and oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection works on construction sites.

Requirements include a degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering, 3 years of M&E experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Certifications in M&E or related fields preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of M&E experience in construction.
• Hands-on experience with site coordination, inspection, and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, design standards, and local regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, M&E design software, and MS Office.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (C&S, Architectural, Planning & Design, etc)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all M&E activities on site (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, building automation).
• Review M&E designs, drawings, and specs for compliance with project requirements.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical and site-related issues.
• Monitor and inspect M&E works to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of all M&E systems.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in site work or design changes promptly.
• Ensure all M&E installations comply with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of M&E systems to maintain quality control.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including inspection reports and as-built drawings.
• Assist in preparing M&E budgets and tracking costs against the schedule.
• Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and contractors.
• Ensure teams follow safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Address and resolve technical or operational M&E issues.
• Collaborate with other departments for seamless integration of M&E systems.
