Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a on-site M&E Engineer with a Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least three years of relevant field experience, preferably in high-rise or factory projects. You will review drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, and monitor progress to ensure quality per the project drawings.

The role requires strong communication with clients, consultants, and project teams, along with a detail-oriented, team-focused attitude and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
At least three years of relevant field experience, with on-site work in high-rise or factory projects considered an advantage.
Strong ability to review and analyze drawings.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
Detail-oriented and a team player with good working attitude.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare and monitor M&E documentations.
Coordinate with Subcontractors to meet submittal and shop drawing requirements.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality and adherence to drawings.
Monitor and supervise M&E work progress on site per schedule.
Study and review construction and shop drawings.
Liaise with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervising manager.
