Job summary

China State Construction Engineering Corporation Malaysia is seeking a site-based M&E engineer with a diploma/degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. The role emphasizes coordinating with clients, consultants, project teams and subcontractors while ensuring quality on site.

Candidates should have strong problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and capable of reviewing drawings. On-site work with high-rise and factory projects is advantageous.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience on-site in high-rise building and factory projects is an advantage.
Ability to review and analyze drawings is beneficial.
Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
Detail-oriented with a team-oriented attitude.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

To prepare and monitor M&E documentations.
Coordinate with Subcontractors to fulfill technical submittal and shop drawing requirements.
Conduct daily inspections to ensure quality and adherence to drawings.
Monitor and supervise M&E work on site per schedule.
Study and review construction drawings and shop drawings.
Liaise with Client, Consultants, Project Teams and Subcontractors.
Undertake any ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervising manager.
