Job summary

Asiamost Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled M&E Drafter to produce Fire Fighting and Electrical drawings, coordinate with engineers, and update drawings during project progress.

The ideal candidate holds a technical drawing qualification and at least one year of drafting experience; fresh graduates are welcome. You will support site measurements and client interactions as part of a growing team.

Qualifications

• Certificate, Diploma, or higher qualification in Technical Drawing, Drafting, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum one year of drafting experience or related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good understanding of technical drawing standards, dimensions, and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Draw M&E drawings including Fire Fighting and Electrical layouts.
• Prepare Architectural drawings when required.
• Update Fire Fighting Service Drawings.
• Prepare M&E drawings (layout, details, shop drawings, as-built).
• Produce coordination drawings for all N’IEP services.
• Review drawings with users before finalization.
• Coordinate drawings schedule with project personnel.
• Draft independently with guidance from project engineer or manager.
• Capable of handling M&E services design.
• Willing to travel and meet clients for M&E design & proposal.
• Attend site for final measurements and drawing updates.

Responsibilities

• To draw M&E drawing :
• Fire Fighting
• Electrical
• Compressor
• Others
• To prepare Architectural drawing, if required.
• To prepare M&E drawings (Proposed layout / details / shop-drawings / as-built)
• Update the Fire Fighting Service Drawings.
• Preparing Co-ordination drawings for all N’IEP Services.
• Make detailed drawings, plan layouts from sketches or other specifications.
• To maintain records of design, specification and catalogue’s as per institutional requirements.
• Review drawings, plans and layouts with Users before finalization.
• To work with project personnel on instructions, pre-established guidelines and comments, and visualize and position them onto drawings.
• To co-ordinate drawings schedule with the respective project personnel / departments
• Drafting independently with guide of project engineer or manager.
• Capable to handle M&E services design
• Willing to work overtime when necessary
• Able to go site for final measurement & update in drawing
• Willing to traveling & meeting with client for M&E design & proposal
• Willing to involve with some project related matter & management works
• Any ad-hoc assignments and other related tasks assigned by Management / immediate superior.

Requirement
