Job summary

Ever H Consulting Sdn Bhd in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, is seeking a skilled M&E Drafter to join our design team. You will prepare detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and support engineers throughout project development.

We expect a diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and at least 2 years of drafting experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD or Autodesk Revit is essential to meet tight timelines and high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an M&E Drafter or in a similar engineering design role.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit or other CAD software is essential.
• Knowledge of M&E systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection) is advantageous.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) Drafter to join our team at Ever H Consulting Sdn Bhd. This full-time role is based in our office in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. As an M&E Drafter, you will play a crucial part in the design and development of engineering projects, contributing to the success of our company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare detailed engineering drawings and designs for mechanical and electrical systems

Supporting Engineering Teams: Assist engineers with design development, providing drafting support and ensuring drawings meet project requirements

Ensuring Compliance: Ensure drawings adhere to building codes, standards, and other relevant regulations

Maintaining Records: M&E drafters keep track of drawings, specifications, and other project documentation

High attention to detail and especially working under tighttimelines.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Proficiency in CAD Software: Strong skills in AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, or other relevant software are essential

2. Knowledge of M&E Systems: Understanding of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other M&E systems is beneficial

3. Education and Experience: A diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field is usually required

4. Minimum 2 years of experience as an M&E Drafter or in a similar engineering design role
