Job summary

Golden Top Security Door Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Lorry Driver for a full-time role based in Kapar, Selangor.

The driver will ensure safe and timely delivery of security door products across the region, while performing daily vehicle checks, loading/unloading, and maintaining delivery records. The role requires a valid HGV/LGV licence, knowledge of road safety regulations, and strong route planning and time management skills.

About the role
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Lorry Driver to join the team at Golden Top Security Door Sdn. Bhd. This is a full-time position based in Kapar, Selangor. As a Lorry Driver, you will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of our security door products to customers across the region. Your professionalism and dedication will directly contribute to maintaining our reputation for excellence in the road transport sector and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

Operate and maintain a lorry in good working condition, conducting daily safety checks and reporting any mechanical issues to management

Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to ensure products arrive at destinations on time and in excellent condition

Load and unload cargo carefully, ensuring proper securing and documentation of all shipments

Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption and any incidents or delays encountered during journeys

Comply with all road traffic regulations, safety standards and company policies whilst operating the vehicle

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise

Maintain professional conduct and represent the company positively when interacting with customers and the public

Perform vehicle maintenance tasks such as checking tyre pressure, oil levels, brakes and lights

What we’re looking for

Valid Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) or LGV driving licence appropriate for the lorry class being operated

Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, traffic laws and vehicle maintenance basics

Excellent time management and route planning abilities to ensure punctual deliveries

Physical fitness and ability to perform loading and unloading duties safely

Reliability, punctuality and professional attitude towards work

Ability to work independently whilst adhering to company policies and procedures

Familiarity with the Selangor region and surrounding areas is advantageous

Digital literacy for recording delivery information and communicating with dispatch teams
