Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an experienced Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. You will transport goods safely from the warehouse to designated locations and help with loading and unloading tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include delivering orders, inspecting the vehicle daily, reporting issues, and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately. Candidates should be familiar with Kuching routes and possess a valid GDL license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid GDL License and a clean driving record.
• Familiar with routes in Kuching.
• Good physical health and stamina for loading/unloading tasks.
• Punctual, honest and responsible.
• Able to communicate basic English/Malay with customers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers/locations safely and follow traffic laws.
• Assist in loading goods into the lorry and unloading with a Driver Attendant.
• Inspect the lorry daily (oil, water, tyres, brakes) before driving.
• Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
• Ensure all delivery orders and invoices are signed and returned to the office daily.

We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and responsible Lorry Driver to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently from our warehouse to designated locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers/locations safely and strictly adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Assist in loading goods into the lorry and unloading them at the delivery destinations, working alongside a Driver Attendant
• Inspect the lorry daily (oil, water, tyres, brakes) before driving
• Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately
• Ensure all delivery orders (DO) and invoices are properly signed and stamped by customers, and return them to the office daily

About you

• Possess a valid GDL License and a clean driving record
• Familiar with routes in Kuching
• Good physical health and stamina, able to handle loading/unloading tasks
• Punctual, honest, and high sense of responsibility
• Able to communicate basic English/Malay with customers
