Job summary

Merchants Global in Malaysia is seeking a logistics professional to handle import/export documentation and coordinate end-to-end shipping activities. The role requires strong communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents and internal teams to ensure timely deliveries and accurate inventory management.

Ideal candidates will have a diploma or degree in logistics or related fields, plus 3–5 years of experience in import/export, shipping, logistics or supply chain within food

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, import/export or related field.

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export documentation and related procedures.
• Arrange shipping bookings, freight forwarding and transportation.
• Coordinate with supplier, shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs agents, transport companies and customers.
• Coordinate production and shipment planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and warehouse operations.
• Follow up on stock movement, inventory accuracy and slow-moving stock.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales and Finance to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Monitor logistics costs and improve operational efficiency.

Education

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, import/export or related field.
