Job summary

Comet Group in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a Logistics Specialist who combines customer focus with teamwork to support our Plasma Control Technologies division. You will coordinate outbound shipments, prepare shipping documents, and monitor inventory to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related fields, with strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills and

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree relevant to Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related fields.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound shipments, deliveries, and transportation schedules.
• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs-related paperwork.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate logistics records.
• Work closely with vendors, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 6S practices, compliance, and logistics efficiency.

Logistics Specialist

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

What Will You Do?

• Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs-related paperwork.
