Job summary

Solid Xpress (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Klang is seeking a proactive Sales Executive to drive new business opportunities and build strong relationships with existing customers in the logistics sector.

You will identify prospects, conduct sales calls and meetings, prepare quotations and proposals, and negotiate to close opportunities, while coordinating with Operations and Customer Service to ensure smooth shipments.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, business development or client relationship management.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of logistics and freight forwarding is an advantage.
• Good follow-up, organisation and time management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet customers locally when required.
• Previous experience in logistics or freight forwarding is a plus.
• Fluent in Chinese and English (Malay or other languages are an added advantage).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new customers, including importers, exporters, manufacturers, SMEs and MNCs
• Manage and grow existing client relationships
• Conduct sales calls, meetings and follow-ups
• Prepare quotations and proposals
• Negotiate and close sales opportunities
• Work closely with Operations and Customer Service teams to support smooth shipment execution
• Monitor sales pipeline, market opportunities and provide regular sales updates
