Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage and coordinate day-to-day activities with 3PL warehouse providers ensuring smooth inbound, storage, outbound, and order fulfilment operations.

You will coordinate with freight forwarders, courier companies, transport providers, customs agents, and other logistics service providers to ensure timely movement and delivery of shipments, source and compare quotations, and manage international and domestic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5-6 years of relevant experience in logistics, freight forwarding, 3PL, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Experience in managing 3PL warehouses, freight forwarders, courier companies, and logistics service providers.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong ERP and Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day activities with 3PL warehouse providers to ensure smooth inbound, storage, outbound, and order fulfillment operations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, courier companies, transport providers, customs agents, and other logistics service providers to ensure timely movement and delivery of shipments.
• Source, evaluate, and recommend suitable logistics solutions based on shipment requirements, destination, cost, transit time, service level, and business needs.
• Obtain and compare quotations from different freight forwarders and logistics service providers to identify the most cost-effective and efficient shipping options.
• Coordinate international and domestic shipments, including shipment bookings, cargo collection, transportation, customs clearance, and final delivery.
• Monitor shipment status and proactively follow up with logistics providers to ensure shipments are delivered within agreed timelines and service levels.
• Manage logistics documentation, including shipping documents, Air Waybills (AWB), Bills of Lading (BL), commercial invoices, packing lists, and proof of delivery (POD).
• Monitor 3PL and logistics service providers' performance against agreed KPIs and SLAs, including delivery timeliness, shipment accuracy, service quality, responsiveness, and cost efficiency.
• Review and verify logistics and 3PL invoices against agreed rates, quotations, contracts, and actual services provided, and resolve any discrepancies with service providers.
• Identify opportunities to optimize freight, transportation, warehousing, and other logistics costs through rate negotiations, shipment consolidation, route optimization, and alternative logistics solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with 3PL providers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure reliable service and effective issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Customer Service, Warehouse, and other relevant teams to ensure smooth execution of logistics activities and timely resolution of operational issues.
• Prepare and analyze logistics performance reports, including freight costs, shipment volumes, transit times, delivery performance, 3PL performance, and logistics cost by country or destination.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, logistics procedures, SOPs, contractual requirements, and applicable import/export and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency, service levels, shipment visibility, and cost effectiveness.
